Race list
Top 3 PR Races in Every State
The three races in each state most likely to give you a PR: flat courses, cool race days and big fields to run with.
Why the races aren't named on this page
This list is worked out from the whole race catalogue when you open it in the race finder. It uses the same PR score shown on every race card, which reads each race's course climb, its typical race-day weather and its field size, so it changes as courses, weather records and results are added.
Open the list to see three races for every state, ranked by that score. Road races only: trail, relay, multisport and themed fun runs are left out. A flat course, a cool morning and a big field to run with are what a personal best usually needs, and each race's own page shows the course, weather and field size on file, so you can see why it made the list before you register.
How this list is chosen
RaceRove's PR score, the one on every race card: course climb, typical race-day weather and field size. Road races only; trail, relay, multisport and themed fun runs are left out.
