About the von Trapp Mountain Marathon
The von Trapp Mountain Marathon is a challenging trail half and full marathon on the Trapp Family Lodge property in Stowe, Vermont. The 13.1-mile loop course mixes wide double-track and gravel roads with rugged singletrack and a scrambling climb to the summit of Round Top Mountain, run once for the half and twice for the full marathon. Held in mid-October, the race is timed to coincide with peak Vermont fall foliage.
