About the UW Medicine Seattle Marathon and Half Marathon
The UW Medicine Seattle Marathon and Half Marathon is Seattle's original hometown marathon and the oldest in the Pacific Northwest, held the weekend after Thanksgiving. The USATF-certified course starts at Seattle Center and, since a 2025 route overhaul, finishes on the downtown waterfront at Pier 66, crossing the I-90 floating bridge with views of Lake Washington and the Seattle skyline.
