About the Gila 100

The Gila 100 is New Mexico's only 100-mile trail race, run out-and-back from historic Fort Bayard near Silver City through the Gila National Forest and along the Continental Divide Trail. A 50-mile option covers the first half; the 100-miler completes the same out-and-back course twice. Grassroots, remote, and rugged, with big elevation change and dramatic desert-to-forest terrain.
