About the Buckeye Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run
Known as "Race to the Runway," the Buckeye Marathon is a fast, net-downhill point-to-point course from Festival Foothills Elementary School in Sun City Festival to the runway of the Buckeye Municipal Airport, dropping over 530 feet with views of the White Tank Mountains. It's a USATF-certified Boston/national qualifier, with the Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, and 1 Mile run as out-and-back courses starting and finishing at the airport.
