About the Atlanta Fat Ass 50K
Atlanta Fat Ass 50K (aka the Sweetwater Fat Ass) is a free, no-frills 50K/25K trail ultra put on by the Georgia Ultrarunning & Trailrunning Society (GUTS), open only to club members. Held each January at Sweetwater Creek State Park, it sends runners around six (or three, for the 25K) loops of the technical 5.2-mile White Trail, finishing with a community crockpot chili cook-off at the Group Shelter.
