About the Allerton Park Trail Run
Second Wind Running Club welcomes you to the Allerton Park Trail Run! Let's hit the trails! A good portion of the 5.7-mile course follows the Sangamon River which has proven quite challenging over the years. Runners may find hidden roots, ruts, sharp turns, and other obstacles. We donate a portion of the proceeds back to Allerton Park for trail maintenance or park enhancements. Our donations have been used towards a railing at a dangerous spot, trail erosion control, recycle bins, water fountai…
