The Peachtree Road Race starts in Buckhead and finishes in Piedmont Park. The spectator plan is the park. The course itself is not a place to drive.

Piedmont Park is the base

The finish festival is in the park. Arrive early if you want a spot near the chute. After the start, a walk on the last mile is the only second look worth taking.

  • Base: Piedmont Park finish festival, off the chute.
  • Second look: the approach into the park, on foot.
  • Skip: driving the course from Buckhead to the park.

Getting there

MARTA to the park area is the reliable way in. Streets around the finish close. A rideshare drop on the edge works. Other Georgia races are listed on RaceRove.

Where to meet

Pick a landmark inside the park, away from the chute. Runners are funneled through the finish and cannot stop at the line. A text after they exit the chute is the plan.
