The Cooper River Bridge Run starts in Mount Pleasant and finishes in downtown Charleston. The spectator plan is the finish area. The bridge itself is closed to spectators.

Downtown finish

The finish festival is in the historic district. Arrive early. A walk on the last mile is the second look. Do not try to get onto the bridge.

  • Base: downtown finish festival, off the chute.
  • Second look: the approach into the city, on foot.
  • Skip: the bridge and driving between start and finish.

Getting there

Park outside the downtown closure and walk, or use a rideshare. The bridge and approach roads close. Other South Carolina races are on RaceRove.

Where to meet

Pick a named square or building entrance off the chute. Runners are moved through the finish. A text after they exit is enough.
