The Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon starts and finishes downtown on the riverfront. The spectator plan is the river. The hills are not a place to meet.

Riverfront base

The finish festival is along the river. Smale Riverfront Park is a walkable second look if you leave at the gun and do not linger. Driving the hill miles means missing the finish.

  • Base: riverfront finish festival.
  • Second look: Smale or the Roebling approach, on foot.
  • Skip: driving the hills.

Getting there

The streetcar plus a walk beats a car. Bridge and riverfront roads close. Drop off on the edge and walk in. Other Ohio marathons use the same pattern.

Where to meet

Pick a stage or named entrance at the festival, not the finish line. Finishers come through in a bunch. A sign with a name beats a text.
