The Army Ten-Miler starts and finishes in the Pentagon lots. Spectators should use Metro and pick one or two spots on the Mall or in Georgetown rather than driving.

Best places to stand

Local guides highlight M Street in Georgetown (miles 2-3), the Watergate Steps near the Lincoln Memorial, Independence Avenue on the National Mall, and the start/finish at the Pentagon with a designated Reunion Area.

  • Early: Georgetown on M Street.

Getting there

Metro is recommended. Pentagon station opens early; some trains bypass it at peak. Free parking at nearby garages. Security screening applies; no large bags.
